CBWEED was founded in Forlì in 2017 by nine friends who, rather than an idea, had a passion: giving hemp back its dignity and bringing it back to the heart of everyday wellbeing. It was a simple, stubborn dream, born between garages, sleepless nights and endless discussions about how to build something real, clean and ours. Since then, every step has been a small revolution made with the hands, mind and disruptive spirit of Romagna.

The first shop took root in the centre of Forlì, and within a few months word had spread. Romagna welcomed us, then the whole of Italy, and finally Europe. Today, we have 25 employees at our headquarters, a showroom that tells our whole story and a network of over 150 franchise outlets, plus hundreds of retailers who have decided to believe in us as much as we believe in hemp.

It was not an easy journey: we have faced prohibition, mistrust and regulatory restrictions that still try to hinder us today, but we have never given up. Because what we do stems from an idea greater than any obstacle: changing perceptions of hemp, one person at a time.

The core of this work is our Growers Department, the department that holds the agricultural and botanical know-how that defines us. We cultivate indoors, in greenhouses and outdoors, choosing each method based on genetics, climate and the final goal. We produce unique selections, study new ranges and collaborate with historic giants in the sector such as Green House Seed, thanks to which we constantly experiment and improve the quality of our plants. This is where our signature strains are born, where the passion that has accompanied us since day one grows.

We are proud to say that all our cannabis is grown by us, on our land, with the same care, precision and determination as on the first day. This is our way of guaranteeing authentic quality, transparency and an identity that can be sensed at first glance (and at first scent). It is also the reason why there is such a strong community around our brand: those who choose us feel that there is genuine passion behind it.

Our mission has not changed and will not change: to spread the culture of hemp, to talk about its real potential seriously and without fear, to defend legality, to support an ethical working model and to show respect for a plant that has given so much to history and deserves to return to its rightful place.

And we will go even further, always with our hands in the soil and with the same spirit with which it all began. Because the secret to great flowering is keeping your roots healthy and strong.
